Quality of plates are good however, beware that the locks are not provided as per specifications or shown here. It has different lock which is not user friendly.
Decathlon must exhibit the actual product in the portal and during demonstration or deliver the right product that has been shown here.

I bought this kit at the beginning of the year, just when I started to get into weight training. I’ve use the set 3 times a week for 8-9 months and I’m still so pleased with it.

The paint at the join of the barbell started chipping after a few weeks, but it’s stopped now and is only a cosmetic issue so doesn’t bother me at all.

I keep the set in its cardboard packaging under my bed for ease of storage. The packaging is getting a little beaten up but it’s still holding. I’d love something sturdier, but I can’t argue with the price.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this set and many places were selling less weight for a lot more money, and usually with questionable or awkward design for adjustable dumbbell-barbell set.

This kit is simple enough and suits my needs. I also like that it can grow with you - a few months ago I added a pair of 10kg plates to up the versatility, and if needed I can add a couple of 20kg, but that is beyond me for now!

This is a good set for a beginner. The bars for the barbell and dumbells are nicely knurled for a good grip, without being too sharp, and the weights are coated with an even coating of some sort of baked finish, so they shouldn't rust in indoor use.

The clamps to secure the weights are very simple and quick to use. Time will tell how well they last.

Overall I think this has been a good purchase for working out at home, and I am happy to recommend it.
