Fleece component: Insulation provided by the air trapped inside
The fleece component is designed to trap air thanks to the space created by its texture; this air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm. The brushing of the knit fabric is what traps the air.
Durability of the components
Resistance to wear and rubbing test: for example, we verify that the fleece does not pill using tests conducted in a laboratory. Colour fastness test: the colour fastness is verified to ensure that the colours do not bleed when in contact with saliva. Ageing test: repeated washing must not alter the fabric's original properties, including its shape, thickness or appearance.

TESTS AND WARRANTY
Test product
We carry out 2 types of warmth tests:
- either a test on our fleece fabrics.
- or on a thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber. We reproduce temperatures, wind (5km/h) and damp that you will encounter in the mountains on a 5 km/h walk.
These tests enable us to confirm our design choices. We adapt thermal insulation where you need it most.

Our design team is based at the foot of Mont-Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are appealing, simple and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field because we believe that the only way to continually improve our products is to test them under the real-life conditions that you will experience.
