Developed thanks to your feedback, tested with hikers
Thanks to our customer comments and feedback, we have re-worked this iconic model to be more comfortable.
The back and shoulder straps are padded, the re-worked compartments better separate your belongings (clothing, flask, wallet, phone, etc.).
Tested in use by many hikers, its features have been tested and approved.
Your comfort above all
Thanks to the quality of your feedback, we have made the back more comfortable with vertical pads. The foam has been thickened and covered in ventilated fabric for a softer touch and to wick away heat and moisture more efficiently.
The shoulder straps are more ventilated that on the previous model and have been covered in the same fabric for optimal ventilation.
More pockets
We have listened to your feedback and enhanced this model with more storage pockets to better organise your belongings on your hikes.
A stretch mesh side pocket has been added on the outside of the bag to store your flask (0.8 litre max), umbrella or other; And a zipped inside pocket for your personal belongings (wallet, phone, keys, cereal bar, etc.).
Our environmental approach - recycled component
WHY CHOOSE RECYCLED POLYESTER? For yellow, green and floral backpacks (references 8789421, 8775640 and 8775643).
By recycling plastic bottles or used fabrics to produce our polyester, we reduce the use of petrol-based resources while maintaining the material's quality and performance for your hikes.
Our environmental approach - our commitment to using less water with this product
Dyeing textiles requires a lot of water and discharges wastewater into the environment.
To reduce this impact, we use the following two dyeing processes:
- We dye one thread in every two for the inner grey component,
- We use mass pigmentation, integrating the colour pigments as soon as the yarn is manufactured, for the outer fabric in blue and black (references: 8775634 and 8775637).
Tested for optimum durability and strength
We carry out several laboratory tests to validate the bag's components: fabric, buckles, straps, foam, zips. For example, for a fabric, we test the resistance to abrasion and tearing, colour fastness when exposed to UV light and washing, and waterproofing. We also conduct tests to check the resistance of assembly using a dummy that reproduces the movements of a hiker to replicate several years of wear and tear on the bag.
