TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Programme

This board is ideal for anyone who wants to make progress after learning how to surf on a foam board. The shape is designed to catch the wave early and to make series of turns on the shoulder of the wave. Ideal for waves between hip and shoulder height.
More experienced surfers will be able to use this board in bigger waves, while avoiding very hollow waves, which are not part of its programme .

Construction

Laminated by hand.
30 kg/m3 EPS foam blank
Deck: three fibreglass layers (4 oz, 6 oz, 6 oz)
Bottom: two fibreglass layers (6 oz, 6 oz)
Rails: two fibreglass layers (6 oz, 6 oz)
Epoxy resin
PU hot coat.
5 mm paulownia wood stringer.

Benefits of EPS/EPOXY boards

We chose this type of construction for our surfboards, because it offers numerous advantages.
The epoxy resin is more resistant to impacts and dents than polyester resin, which makes the board more hard-wearing.
The board is more reactive and can gather more speed
The EPS foam (expanded polystyrene) floats better, meaning that, for the same volume, you have more buoyancy than with a polyester /polyurethane board.

DIMENSIONS

7' X 21" 1/2 X 2" 3/4
213.4 X 54.6 cm X 7 cm

Fin assembly

Once the fins are positioned in the plugs, tighten the screws until hand tight using the Allen key provided.

Protective cover

The board is packaged in a Flexi Hex® honeycomb sleeve inside a sturdy box.
There is no plastic packaging.
The sleeve can be reused inside your board bag to protect your board during transport.
