TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Choosing your basketball shoes

When shopping for basketball shoes, you need to: 1- Determine your skill level and playing frequency.
2- Pinpoint your main expectations as related to your playing style: Fast footwork or increased shock absorption for powerful support.
3- Pick the right upper height: covered ankle or not?

Picking a shoe size

We recommend picking your usual shoe size for basketball trainers and trying on your shoes before your first practice.
Feel free to go up a size if it feels more comfortable.
There should be about 1 cm between your toe and the end of the shoe because your foot will tend to swell slightly as you exercise.
Finally, opt for basketball-specific socks that reduce friction in the areas that are most likely to rub.

Why you should opt for light shoes

The shoe's weight must move every time you step and jump. Wearing 500 grams on your feet will feel heavier than carrying 500 grams on your back.
The Fast 500 is light, so light you may forget you're wearing shoes at all, no matter your size, weight or skill level.
Wearing extremely light shoes is even more important for small players, especially growing kids and teens.

What kind of courts are these shoes designed for?

All courts! Our shoes were tested and approved for use on various indoor surfaces as well as outdoor courts.
We also test their grippiness with different levels of dust (in the lab and in real conditions) as well as their lasting robustness, particularly their wear and tear on contact with the floor.
