Fleece material: Insulation provided by air
The fleece component is designed to trap air in the space formed by its texture; this air acts as a natural insulator, keeping the body warm. It is the brushing of the knit fabric that traps the air.
Durability of the components
Resistance to wear and abrasion test: for example, we check that the fleeces do not pill using tests conducted in laboratories. Colour retention test: the colour fastness is verified to ensure that the colours do not bleed when coming into contact with saliva. Ageing test: repeated washing should not affect the fabric's properties, behaviour, thickness or appearance.
A score for comparing products' environmental impact

These ratings has been developed with the ADEME (French Environment and Energy Management Agency) as well as other French companies. The ratings are used to assess the environmental impact of product thanks to a scale from A to E with A being the best rating.

TESTS AND WARRANTY
Test product
We carry out 2 types of thermal testing:
- either a test of the material of our fleeces.
- or on a thermal mannequin in a thermal chamber. We reproduce the conditions of temperature, wind (5 km/h) and humidity that you would encounter in the mountains walking at 5 km/h in our testing chambers.
These tests allow us to validate our design choices. So we can adapt our thermal insulation where you most need it.

Our team of designers is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in the Haute-Savoie region (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are appealing, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, because we believe that the only way to continuously improve our products is to test them under the real-life conditions that your child will experience in use.
