For hillwalking in scotland this fabulous piece of kit is a godsend - you can be happily trekking in good weather and suddenly it’s raining heavily - it can quickly and easily be put on and pulled off as the weather changes (as it repeatedly does
I were a medical ruck sack this is brilliant it covers the whole of me
Could do with a better peak...
Raincoat is roomy and breathable. Do not feel hot in it during hike in very heavy rain. It keeps me warm. Truly waterproof. I love the little protruding cap
Hello Rossidah,
Thank you for taking the time to review our products!
I am delighted to find you're happy with this Hiking Rain Poncho Forclaz 75 Size S/M - Red! Yes indeed this poncho has a shaped visor, like a cap, for maximum protection of the face :) The ends of the sleeves are also cuffed with rip-tabs that prevent water from entering the sleeves.
In addition to the various technical features you have mentioned, Decathlon proactively builds initiatives to be more sustainable and work toward a greener future. For more information: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/.
Thank you again for taking the time to write your wonderful review! We look forward to seeing more of your reviews too! :)

Bought for Daughters DofE silver expedition.....was ideal in wet weather and kept her and kit dry.
Quite large but that proved a bonus
very practical, fits well; hood fit is excellent with its adjustment feature.
can be slipped on as a traditional cape or poncho or worn as a jacket type cagoule. the vents also can act as arm slits when worn as a poncho. very good, useful piece of gear.
I saw a lot of comment on Camino forums about other poncho makes which are not available in the UK.
This poncho from Decathlon cost less and when I finally compared it to the other make on the Camino I found it to be not only better value but seems to use a stronger fabric.(and thus weighing a little more)
Wore it first on a very wet and windy crossing to Roncesvalles and it kept me and my backpack both warm and dry.
Full zip and velcro. Under arm vents with zip
